Who are we?
David Rawlins Ltd is a fully Independent firm of Chartered Surveyors near York and Selby, and offers a wide range of Building and property related services to clients. It comprises two Chartered Surveyors, David Rawlins, DipBldgCons FRICS IHBC, and Mark Stephenson FRICS.
David Rawlins Chartered Surveyor is a full member of the IHBC (Institute of Historic Building Conservation) and the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, (SPAB) He has a Diploma in Building Conservation and can offer a fast, professional service with expert local knowledge of the traditional building techniques used by our predecessors. In addition to Condition Surveys of period & other traditional buildings, we also offer single defect analysis, including in respect of damp and other issues commonly found in traditional buildings, as well as the usual RICS Home Buyers Reports and valuations of modern dwellings.
David Rawlins Ltd Chartered Surveyors was established in 1995 and concentrates on Residential Surveys & Valuations full time. We do not sell houses and are therefore able to offer fully independent advice on any residential matters. We have a reputation for being thorough and balanced, concentrating on what is required for a house commensurate with its age & type. A property is studied in a holistic manner before a decision is made as to the most appropriate method of repair that is least damaging to the original integrity of the building.
